This packaging with shock-absorbing function was developed mainly for glass vials that contains anticancer drugs. Anticancer drugs are expensive, and some of them are dangerous to skin in case of vial breakage; thus, assurance of shock-absorbing is crucial. As shown in the picture, by saving room between the vial and the outer carton, the shock from the outside will not directly transmitted to the vial. In addition, the outer carton and the inner tray are integrated in one piece, so its material management at pharmaceutical companies may be kept simple.
