Asahi is proactively adopting state-of-the-art production equipment and systems for our constant pursuit of improvement on quality and productivity. Many of them have been developed in-house to precisely meet customer needs, or have been optimized with specifications "developed especially for Asahi" by a joint development with external partners. For example, the sheet-fed offset combination multi-color printing press installed at Toyama East plant is the first press in Japan, developed through the collaboration with a machine manufacturer in order to achieve effective, stable quality production for cosmetic packages which require high designability and various surface patterns. Furthermore, we are continuing our unique pursuit of quality at each operation process such as using internally developed systems for digital proof-reading and its data management.

We have adopted the print verification system to check conformity of printed images and texts in high accuracy comparison. For pharmaceutical packaging production, we utilize either the in-line or off-line inspection equipment to assure consistent appearance quality of every single printed product.
